Books or Movies

Whenever I go to see a movie that was based on a book, inevitably I come out shaking my head, thinking to myself (or sometimes out loud, much to Will's displeasure), "that was pretty good, but the book was so much better."

Are books better than the movies they are based on? Why or why not? Have you ever been to a movie that you thought was better than the book? Give some specific examples!

Welcome to Bartos' book blog. Throughout the summer we will be using this blog to discuss-- you guessed it-- BOOKS! Everyone knows that I love to read, and one of my favorite parts of reading is discussing the books with other people. One fun way that I discuss books with other people is by writing back and forth on a blog like this.

With our blog, I will ask you a few questions. Then, you think about the questions and then respond to them. Everybody on our blog will be able to read your responses and add their own ideas or questions.
